Fernstrum keel cooler

The cooler known under the product name GRIDCOOLER® is attached to the outside of the hull. Indirect cooling means that no seawater needs to be fed into the engine room, which prevents corrosion and deposits in the cooling water channels. Thanks to the special cooling channels, greater stability is achieved and flow resistance is reduced. The GRIDCOOLER® also operates trouble-free in icy conditions.

The special design and various installation options allow for easy installation. The elimination of a seawater pump, heat exchanger, slide valve and filter, as well as complex pipework, results in cost savings for you.

The GRIDCOOLER® is available in numerous different models and is supplied completely ready for installation with fittings and high-quality neoprene seals. Thanks to our close cooperation with shipyards and engine manufacturers, we can provide you with an optimally designed cooling system.
